Welcome to the GIMPA Online Souvenir Shop, a digital storefront of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). By accessing or purchasing from this website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Kindly read them carefully.

  1. General Information

1.1 The GIMPA Online Souvenir Shop is an official platform designed to offer branded merchandise, memorabilia, and official institutional items to the GIMPA community and the public.
1.2 All proceeds support institutional development and student-centered initiatives.

  1. Eligibility

2.1 Purchases can be made by students, staff, alumni, prospective students, partners, and members of the general public.
2.2 Users must be at least 18 years old or have guardian consent to place orders.

  1. Product Information

3.1 All products listed are accurately described to the best of our knowledge, including size, material, color, and price.
3.2 Images are for illustrative purposes and may differ slightly from the final product due to lighting and screen display.

  1. Ordering and Payment

4.1 Orders are placed through the online shop at [www.gimpa.edu.gh/shop].
4.2 Payments are accepted via:

  • Mobile Money (MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo)
  • Bank Transfer
  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Direct payment at the GIMPA Cash Office (optional)

4.3 All orders must be paid in full before dispatch or collection.

  1. Order Confirmation and Delivery

5.1 An email or SMS confirmation will be sent upon successful order placement.
5.2 Delivery options include:

  • Nationwide courier delivery (Ghana Post/Third-Party Service)
  • On-campus pick-up at the Corporate Affairs Office
    5.3 Delivery timelines will be communicated, typically within 3–7 business days.
    5.4 Delivery charges may apply and will be stated at checkout.

 

  1. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

6.1 Customers may return unused products in their original packaging within 7 days of receipt.
6.2 Refunds are only provided for defective or wrongly delivered items.
6.3 Exchanges are permitted subject to availability.
6.4 To initiate a return, contact shop@gimpa.edu.gh with proof of purchase and reason.

  1. Cancellations

7.1 Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement if not yet processed for delivery.
7.2 Cancellation after dispatch is not allowed.

  1. Data Protection and Privacy

8.1 Customer data collected will be used solely for order processing, communication, and internal record-keeping.
8.2 GIMPA complies with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana.
8.3 Data will not be shared with third parties except delivery partners.

  1. Intellectual Property

9.1 All product designs, logos, and content on the online shop are the intellectual property of GIMPA and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

  1. Customer Responsibilities

10.1 Customers are responsible for providing accurate information during ordering.
10.2 Customers are advised to confirm product specifications before purchase.
10.3 Any abuse of the platform may result in a ban from future use.

  1. Operational Guidelines for Shop Administrators

11.1 The shop is managed by the Corporate Affairs and Institutional Advancement (CAIA) Directorate.
11.2 Inventory updates, pricing, and promotions are approved by the Shop Committee.
11.3 Staff shall ensure prompt processing, dispatch, and communication of orders.
11.4 A monthly reconciliation report shall be prepared and submitted to Finance.
11.5 Customer complaints must be responded to within 48 hours.

  1. Liability

12.1 GIMPA shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party logistics, acts of nature, or incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
12.2 GIMPA is not responsible for unauthorized use of the customer’s payment platform.

  1. Modification of Terms

13.1 GIMPA reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
13.2 Users are encouraged to review this page regularly for updates.
